I received my M.A. in Special Education K-12 from the University of North Alabama. I received my B.A. in English from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating with honors. My post-graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis was obtained from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Experience
I have 20 years in the field of Special Education, grades k-12, including supervision of other staff and professional consulting. In my work, I have taught students with disabilities including Autism, ADHD, mental illness, behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. I have also conducted assessments, including functional behavior plans. I am currently homeschooling my son and would like to tutor at present, rather than working full-time.

Hobbies
One of my great loves is rescuing and training dogs. In my spare time, I tend to bury myself in science fiction, and recently became interested in comic book movies. I also enjoy photography and artwork. My son and I are outside hiking as often as possible, and we are getting back into gardening.
